Certified Associate in Emergency Measures (AMU) by the Association de sécurité civile du Québec (ASCQ), she was involved in the first two Volunteer Meetings where volunteers from different organizations take part in a large simulation of search and rescue.

She has also worked for the Canadian Red Cross for several years, carrying out both local and national interventions. She accumulated various experiences in training and animation that she was able to apply to the field of civil security during a six-month mission in Haiti. She worked there in prevention and preparedness with local communities in risk and disaster management.

Ms. Roussy became familiar with the reality of municipalities through an internship in civil protection at the Beauharnois-Salaberry MRC for which she is also a contractual employee.

Passionate about civil security and emergency measures, she loves to take up new challenges that lead her to get involved in many projects allowing her to acquire new skills and expertise.
